Hi and thank you about chipmark for Firefox 3.

May I give you a few advices like :
    - No Need this “Send this page to a friend” button, this taking too much place on the toolbar (why not place this inside the chipmarks menu ?).
    - Third click to open in a new tabs is cruelly needed !
    - Navigation button (from left to right) in the toolbar isn’t very handy (the older one was better).

Except from that this tool is very handy :)
    Thanks again

Sure would be nice to get Chipmark updated to work with FF3.0 final. In the meantime, if you install the Nightly Tester Tools extension, you can force install it. I have no issues with it installed that way.

  6. sync happy Says:

could you please add a tool button that will automatically sync the firefox bookmarks with the chipmarks or make this a constant thing.

  7. korinthian Says:

I have problems with the ToolTips. They keep appearing all the time, even when the links don’t have them.

Once you get a Firefox 3 plugin fully working, you might want to update the following page with a note about Chipmark :)

  10. Todd Says:

i’m using the FF3 beta. every time i open a new window, i get a series of Chipmark API Error pop-up alert windows & my chipmarks aren’t there. any idea how to fix this? it’s very annoying.

  11. Jan Meijer Says:

I use FF3 and the Chipmarks plug-in. Most of it is OK!.

But I just installed Mozilla’s ALPHA for Ubiquity and now my chipmarks login is not working anymore!

    Please investigate!

  12. Nathanael Nerode Says:

Having the same problem as Todd. Chipmarks simply isn’t working with the FF3 Alpha — long series of API errors and the Chipmarks aren’t in the menu.

  13. crash Says:

So, Evan, are you going to stay here with the new upcoming 2008/2009 Chipmark team?

If not then thank you very much for all your effort to the project ;)

  14. Foucault Says:

Oh Crap! So being a late adopter of new technologies, I’ve avoided FF3 up until now. An auto-update of FF2 last night resulted in me being unable to run FF this morning.

So, I say to myself, I guess it’s time to try out FF3.

I do….all looks fine. I was aware that Chipmarks are only in beta for FF3. I’ll try it out.

No joy! Same as has been reported here: “Long series of API errors and the Chipmarks aren’t in the menu.”

This is a big deal, since I have hundreds of Chipmarks! No bookmarks.

    This is version 3.0.2

I guess I’m having to work from the Chipmark web page.

  15. Baruch Says:

Same problem here with FF 3.0.3:

Each time a pop-up, or a new FF window opens, I get a series of 5 “Chipmark API error” messages.

Is this going to be fixed soon? It’s a real pain working with Chipmarks this way.

    Thanks

I’m on FF3.0.3 and still getting the ‘Chipmark Error’ popup windows with messages:

Chipmark API error: Server failure when retrieving shared folder invites: FAILURE

Chipmark API error: Server failure getting Buddy Requests.

Chipmark API error: Unable to retrieve chipmarks!

Chipmark API error: Server failure when retrieving content filter settings: FAILURE

I thought this was supposed to be fixed!!
